The trio comes to The Wiltern on Friday 29th January to showcase their incredible talent and genre-defying music – from ragtime to country, from bluegrass to blues, The Devil Makes Three bring a raw, high energy, fun show that you'll never forget!
The Devil Makes Three is an alternative Americana band, originally hailing from the small town of Brattleboro, Vermont, but launched in Santa Cruz, California. Formed of guitarist Pete Bernhard, upright bassist Lucia Turino, and guitarist and tenor banjo player Cooper McBean, the band released their eponymous debut album independently in 2002. To date, they have released four, full length studio albums, and have toured with artists as diverse as Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell, Trampled By Turtles and the Old Crow Medicine Show. They have also made their name on the festival seen, having played Newport Folk and Austin City Limits Festivals, Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza.
