Jake Lawson, more commonly known as JVKE, became an internet sensation when he began his career posting creative Tiktok videos during COVID-19 lockdowns. He professionally became JVKE, an American singer-songwriter, producer, and social media personality, when his songs initially went around online but subsequently took over most of everyone's playlists. A huge milestone in his career involved Charlie Puth, who approached Lawson for a remix of his successful hit song "Upside Down" in 2020. He became an MTV Push artist in October 2022, following the song's release at an MTV UK performance.

The 21-year-old artist was born in Providence, Rhode Island. He had a very musical upbringing with his public school music teacher as a parent and his participation in their church as a singer and piano player. He entered a community college in his hometown but later dropped out to fulfill his dream of becoming a professional singer-songwriter. With TikTok emerging as the latest trend, Lawson introduced himself as JVKE.

After several collaborations with prominent artists, he released "Golden Hour" on July 15, 2022, as an independent artist, which pushed him toward the music scene of the decade. The song peaked at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has garnered over seven hundred million views on multiple social media streaming platforms.

Join the upcoming star at The Wiltern on Tuesday, August 8, on his 2023 tour called "This Is What Tour Feels Like." Grab your tickets here by hitting the "Get Tickets" link.
