The Wiltern | Los Angeles, California
We're only halfway through the year, and already Brooklyn-based pop sensation King Princess has duetted with Fiona Apple and turned down a support slot with Harry Styles at Madison Square Garden! The rest of the year looks set to be pretty incredible too, with the 20-year-old queer-icon-in-the-making releasing her debut album Cheap Queen! She's headed to The Wiltern on Saturday 25th January 2020 for the second of a two-night-run to perform brand new tracks from the album, as well as hits like "1950"!
Growing up the daughter of a record producer, it's no wonder New York City-based singer-songwriter King Princess was destined for big things. After turning down her first offer of a record deal at the tender age of eleven, she made history as the first artist to be signed to Mark Ronson's Zelig Records in 2018, the same day that she released her debut single, "1950". The single was certified gold in the United States and Canada, and double-platinum in Australia, where it peaked at number 25 on the ARIA Charts, and preceded her debut EP, Make My Bed. Cheap Queen, her debut album, will be released this year.
