Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) podcasts have been around for years. Some iconic ones like Critical Role and Adventure Zone helped listeners join in on the fun in the comfort of their own home or while traveling. These podcasts contributed to the games' popularity and allowed listeners to experience D&D, even without their own group. Not Another D&D Podcast, also known as NADDPod, is actually at the top of their game. In 2018, the podcast started airing on the HeadGum Network, its popularity skyrocketing up to 20,000 listeners on their Patreon account.
Led by Master Brian Murphy, NADDPod has had four extensive and epic campaigns. The cast, composed of Murphy, Emily Axford, Jake Hurwitz, and Caldwell Tanner, is starkly entertaining thanks to their humor, goofiness, excellent improvisations, and great chemistry. The cast of NADDPod have been friends for years, and Axford and Murphy are a married couple, which elevates the stakes and competition. With their chemistry built from their time spent at CollegeHumor, an Internet comedy company in Los Angeles, there is no wonder that NADDPod had amassed a cult following. NADDPod announced that they will return to Bahumia as the setting for their third campaign in this series. Moreover, the timeline occurs 200 years after their first campaign.
