Legendary 80 yr old vocalist Tony Bennett will team up with the princess of pop Lady Gaga for a one off post-grammy performance. A fitting event for Bennett who has dominated the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album, winning it 11 times! The show will touchdown at The Wiltern on Sunday 8th February 2015. This won’t be the first time the duo have performed together, they often team up for swing duets and jazz material.
In a press release, Bennett says, “What I really love about being a jazz singer is that jazz artists are very creative, very honest, from phrase to phrase.” Gaga explains, “We wanted to make something that sounded perfect because of the quality of the emotion…the honesty.”
